Event Information

When: Dec 8 – Dec 10; Based on age, attendees may choose a 1 or 2 night option
Where: Camp Lakamaga (12303 Lakamaga Trail N, Marine on St Croix, MN 55047)
Cost: $35 girl/$15 adult for one night;  $40 girl/$20 adult for two nights

Registration is due by October 7th. A non-refundable deposit of $10 per person is due with registration and will be applied to the total cost. Registration is not complete without a deposit. Final payment is due by November 4th.

What is Encampment?

Join old & new friends at our annual weekend of fun for girls! Activities are in place. Meals are prepared for you. Girls earn a badge. We sleep indoors with indoor plumbing. The CSAs (Cadettes, Seniors, Ambassadors) lead the Brownies & Juniors in activities, while adults connect with each other. This is a great opportunity for Brownies/Juniors to see the CSAs in action and inspire them to continue along the Girl Scout path.

Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors stay 2 nights
Junior Troops may stay 1 or 2 nights
Brownie Troops stay Saturday night only

  • 2 nights include: housing, activities, badge, participation patch, food (Friday night snack; Saturday breakfast, lunch, dinner, evening snack; Sunday brunch) Friday dinner is on your own – eat before you leave, bring bag suppers, or stop to eat before you arrive.
    Cost: $40 per girl, $20 per adult
  • 1 night includes: housing, activities, badge, participation patch, food (Saturday lunch, dinner, evening snack; Sunday brunch) Saturday breakfast is on your own – please eat a hearty breakfast before you leave.
    Cost: $35 per girl, $15 per adult

Adult Training:
Required – 1 person attending per troop who has completed “Beyond the Troop –Girls Sleep In” (PDF Self Study)
Preferred – Current in Basic First Aid & CPR

All girls and adults attending must be registered girl scouts.
