Travel the World—Explore New Places with Destinations
The Travel pathway is your chance to go somewhere new, do something different, and meet people from everywhere you can imagine.
There are six categories of destinations for Girl Scouts:
  1. International—events outside of the U.S.
  2. Outdoors—events ranging from learning outdoor skills to Outward Bound challenges on land or sea.
  3. Science—events that take science to a new level. Learn animal behavior or what a doctor’s life is like.
  4. People—events that visit cities and the countryside to explore the culture of new places.
  5. Apprenticeships—events that provide hands-on, real-life experience in a potential career field.
  6. Getaways—Two- to four-day events all over the country that don’t require the Girl Scoutdestinations application.
